Heather Holben is a therapist practicing in Kennewick, WA with over 12 years of clinical experience working with children, adults, and families.
Heather earned her Bachelor's Degree from Washington State University in 2003, and her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington University in 2007. Heather has worked in various communities as an individual and group therapist within college counseling centers, community mental health agencies, and crisis response centers. In addition to her counseling work, Heather has also served as a sexual assault victim advocate and a sexual violence prevention education specialist.
Heather's current services include individual and group therapy for teens and adults with a variety of issues. Heather's therapeutic approach includes direct, solution-focused interventions that provide the client with practical tools to help them manage symptoms and fully alleviate root causes of distress. She has advanced training in working with survivors of trauma and issues of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, dissociation, self-harm, attachment, grief, and relationship struggles. Heather uses a variety of treatments and she often combines and tailors these therapeutic approaches to meet each client's unique interests and goals.
